🪷 Pond Pals Academy – Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Pond Pals Academy, a learning branch of Ferdi’s Pond, created and operated by Dressed Up Hippy Art and Designs, LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”). By enrolling, purchasing a pass, or using the Academy modules, you agree to these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”).

1. Purpose of Pond Pals Academy

Pond Pals Academy provides child-friendly educational content, printable materials, interactive games, and digital activities that teach ecology, kindness, creativity, and foundational academic skills. The content is designed for families, classrooms, and individual learners ages 3–10.

2. Access & Accounts

  • Access is granted through one of our Academy Passes (Monthly All-Access Pass, Amphibian Pass, Butterfly Pass, etc.).
  • Each purchase gives access for one household, teacher, or classroom unless otherwise noted.
  • Please keep your login secure. Sharing your login publicly or for resale purposes is not permitted.

3. Subscription Billing & Renewal

  • Monthly All-Access Passes are billed automatically every 30 days through Stripe.
  • You may cancel any time before your next billing date.
    • If using our Stripe Customer Portal, cancellation takes effect immediately and access continues through the end of the paid period.
    • If requesting cancellation manually, contact us at Ferdi's Pond.
  • One-time passes purchased through Ferdi’s Pond Store (WooCommerce) are not recurring and do not renew automatically.
  • No prorated or partial refunds are provided once a billing period begins.

4. Educational Use Only

All Pond Pals Academy materials are for personal, classroom, or homeschool use. Redistribution, resale, uploading to public websites, or AI-training datasets is prohibited without written consent.

5. Content Ownership & Copyright

All characters, stories, images, modules, and related materials — including Ferdi the Frog, Fiona, Bartholomew, Bramble, Freddy, and other Pond Pals characters — are original works protected by copyright and trademark law. You may download and print learning materials for personal or classroom use only.

6. User Conduct

Children should use Pond Pals Academy under adult supervision. You agree not to:

  • Copy, modify, or distribute content without permission.
  • Circumvent payment systems or access areas not included in your pass.
  • Upload offensive, commercial, or harmful content if interactivity features are offered.

7. Technical Requirements

The Academy is optimized for desktop browsers. Some activities may not function properly on mobile devices; mobile access is available through our companion app when released.

8. Privacy & Safety

We respect children’s privacy. We do not knowingly collect personal data directly from children under 13. Parent or guardian contact information is used only for account management, payment processing, and support. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

9. Termination of Access

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms, misuses content, or engages in fraudulent activity.

10. Liability Disclaimer

Pond Pals Academy activities are for educational and entertainment purposes. We make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy and safety but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free operation. Use of the site is at your own discretion.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date. Continued use after updates means you accept the new Terms.
