Insect's Body Parts

All insects have three main parts: 

  • Head
  • Thorax
  • Abdomen

They also all have six legs. 

Fun fact: Spiders are not insects!

MATCH THE WORD TO THE PICTURE

Let’s match the insect body parts!
  1. Listen — The name of the body part will be spoken.
  2. Find the Picture — Look at the tiles with pictures of insect parts.
  3. Drag and Drop — Pick up the word tile (that was spoken) and place it on the picture you think is correct.
  4. Check Your Match — The word and picture will stick together with a piece of tape.
  5. Be Careful – There are extra pictures to choose from!
  6. Click the checkbox in the right-hand corner when you’re finished.
Move the tiles around the board. When. you make a match, you can move them so you can see the other tiles more easily.
